Yes! We reached 51 microns uncompensated and hot and still reducing[smile] so in my view good enough and we reached 100 gram residual weight. Yes, demobilized, 3 runs, only 3 weeks almost, great success.

So lemon bearings are sour grapes giving banana orbits until perfectly balanced then they also turn pear-s, sorry lemon shaped......

While the absolute casing vibration gently weeps, sorry should be keeps below 2mm/s p and keep decreasing. I need a few hours vacation, train tomorrow will be nice.

And the boss called us to stay, to show good faith. I don't charge enough even if they complain....

Maybe some simultaneous bearing housing 1X and phase measurements would be instructive and revealing  in the absence of corrected prox probe data.

Well we got full Adre and system1 support and collect bearing data off line and they are real low 1-2 mm/s p. So we now run 72h test for a couple of days and it is around 40 microns p-p on both ends on both machines uncompensated so I am happy but they keep us here to hold hand "just in case" not that I can do anything magic now. Apprx 30T rotor and residual is less than 0.1Kg, I am happy. Job is done. I really wonder why the vectors stopped turning when we turned the last weights though, can't say I seen that much. Normally you find the correct correction angle and then adjust weight, not this one.

So I got back home now some how by bus, train and almost horse we considered ship for a while and it would have been faster, can you beat a 3 run vector balancing in 23 days as the longest forced balancing of a "single" plane solution?
