Various new CTC sensors, some still in packaging or ex-display stock. A quantity of used Wilcoxon 786A 100 mV/g accels.

Updated list due to popular demand. Some excellent premium CTC accels for low frequency, low noise or route applications.

See attached word doc for photos and pricing.

Hi Rang,

Some swear by all sorts. My main accels are Wilcoxon. Unfortunatey the main dude here in Aus is no longer working for them as direct distributor.

The settling time is so fast for the Wilcoxon. CTC are not bad but for walk around work Wilcoxcon is best in my book.  You just don't want to have to wait for those extra seconds for every point.

Others go for IMI and I have a few of those but settling time is poor cw Wilcoxon. At least in my experience. You gotta love quick settling time......

That's a good observation. I notice there is a difference between Turn-on time and settling time. Settling time is less relevant for routine data when power is always on (in the case of Emerson/CSi users anyway). Although shock recovery (following placement of the magnet on the machine) related to settling time, is faster on a Wilcoxon due to their 'PiezoFET' circuitry. 1sec for Wilcoxon, 2 secs for a CTC. (but also dependent on lots of variables eg sensitivity)

Wilcoxon have always had better information available in this regard. CTC tend to have a tighter specification and warranty. eg a quality CTC accel typically has half the spectral noise.

Nothing worse than ski slopes or waiting for a sensor to settle.
