QUESTION: Is it possible to export (to text file for example) a list of assigned AP sets and AL sets for each equipment and position.
Example
Water Pump 1 position 1A - APset 3 ALset 7
Water Pump 1 position 1H - APset 3 ALset 7
Water Pump 1 position 1P - APset 4 ALset 9
etc

I don't think it's possible, but you guys may know something I don't.

Pete,

What Version?

I can show you in 5.42 but it might be different in the newer stuff.

I'm not sure if this will still work but here goes:

On the main menu page, click the Tools Tab. (If that's not there, then I don't think I can help you.

Then open Database Setup>Tree Structure.

Select the Database, Area or Machine of concern.

Open the Tools tab near the top and Select MP Set Assignment

In that dialog box you should select Display All Set ID's for AP and AL sets.

Then check the box for Periodic and hit OK.

It will output to a variety of destinations that can be set using the File menu.  It's pretty awkward how it saves files and prints directly so I sometimes need to copy and paste into something like Word.

Hope this helps.

Dang... that was exactly what I was looking for!  I never would have figured that out on my own.

I really appreciate the help.

We have recently transitioned to CSI equipment/software, still getting the kinks worked out with alarm strategy and other transition items....and due to some unexpected circumstances the guy who was most knowledgeable about the software on site is suddenly unavailable.   I feel like I am on an island trying to figure things out from scratch with no-one to ask. It's a lifesaver for me having knowledgeable guys like you available to answer questions.

Thanks again!

Any time, Pete. I owe you at least a couple hundred more assists.

E-mail me and I'll give you my phone number for when you get in a jam.  I'll be glad for the chance to help you for a change.
