Keep in mind that for thermal expansion generally we have a "held" bearing and a "free" bearing on each shaft.  The free bearing, by necessity has to have a bit more clearance.  I've marked which I think are held and free on the graphic below.  The bottom output shaft can have both bearings free because of the double helical arrangement.  The shaft above it is locked at one end.

I agree, and figured that's why the carrier's were used. I just found it odd I couldn't get any clearance to speak if on any of the other carrier's. I'll mark it and watch. Thanks for your help
