Let us know if you have an analyzer not listed that you want to discuss, and we will add a forum for it.

Pruftechnik.  The software is called Omnitrend and they have a range of instruments. See link.

http://www.pruftechnik.com/products/condition-monitoring-systems/portable-systems-for-condition-monitoring.html

ps I don't have any affiliation with this product or gain any monetary return from it. Just putting it out there to fish for opinions of users. rgds

I would suggest Rockwell/Entek/IR. No idea what they are really called but I still use their hardware and software but can't afford the cost of talking to them.

What really happened to them? They were one of the bigger players a few years ago, up with CSi, but seem to have fallen away really badly. Has Rockwell killed what Entek used to be? I used to hear that the old Entek software used to be really good but have really heard nothing of them in a long time.

I added Pruftechnik and also Rockwell, as requested.  Mike, are you the only guy here still using Rockwell? [smile]  I looked on the Rockwell site and there is nothing under "Products" about vibration analyzers.  I actually had to do a "search" of their site to find the Enpac and Dynamix data collectors.

Any of these sub-forums that we don't get traffic on will have to eventually be removed due to space limitations.

I am a rockwell user. I share the same frustration as METhornton with the support. I tried using the support one time. We have since let it lapse.

Rockwell became IRD I thought or vise versa? I have seen a few guys here in Ireland terribly frustrated at Rockwells lack of support the last few years ( I use Microlog from SKf and the box is the same,( Made by SKF I think)

Here are a few Ive discovered recently and was wondering does anyone have any experience of them?
Semapi DSP Logger, Comes from Argentina, looks like a very capable system, http://www.en.dsplogger.com/
#t=158

and then today came across this company 'Maintenance Technology Solutions ' The guy who owns it is an ex csi guy, sounds like an interesting set up but unable to get much detail about it spectra display etc, http://vbox3.com
Adash seem to do a good product but I haven't seen much of them on the AMP forums etc( well its pretty much my only point of reference)

EDIT Sorry Rusty for the vids, but thought they might be of use.

Yeah the SKF analyser is made by Diagnostic instruments which is SKF owned. A few different companies used them.

Yes as most other toys we sold them for a while after a CSI stint before moving to Entek/IRD-Rockwell and then Commtest, it was the early stuff and they also used a DI box as many did at the time but I used the original basic box. I have not personally used the newer but I have contact with a guy I trained that have it and he seems ok. I will try to invite him. It was anyway possible to measure a complete stainless rolling steel mill with it and get the required data. Olov

Not so much N-L ;-) I live to far south and mostly I sleep at night. Still when training some guys at Kiruna, LKAB iron ore mine up north the hotel was full of asian people going a long way and staying up all night to see the N-L. I selected to sleep, the choices you make. Olov

I've seen some interesting stuff from Adash of Late, they have a new 2 channel box on the way with built in IR temp gun and stroboscope with 8-10 hour battery, has automated diagnosis and triax capability, its due in the next 6-8 week's I spoke to the main guy there a few weeks back.
Here is a video of theyre flagship machine....Always reminds me of a CSI2130...I thought for an age they were buying the box's from CSI

How about having a new subcategory for "other brands"?

From time to time, we see new products (to us) and it would be a good idea to be able to share their website here. My aim for the subcategory is to have exposure to less famous products/solutions.
