Can´t see a empty spot.
I got a Seek IR that plugs in to in this case Android devices.
It´s 206x156 array, Raytheon inside. Fine for me.
In Europe found at Amazon UK.
Just saw an article saying that Flir One is 160x120 and
Therm-App supposedly to be "professional" 384x288 and
various optics available and cost more.
Fun with toys. Olov

I've used both the Seek Thermal and the new FLIR One and was blown away with the edges mode that FLIR One implements.

Here's an example for what this edges mode produces - pretty phenomenal (see attached)

I did not use FLIR ONE first hand but I like three features :

1- Video is possible to save

2- Panoramic thermal image is possible

3- Both thermal and photographic images can be saved in one shot.

I have the Flir E8 compact camera and really like it.  The resolution is 320 x 240 and the Edge technology is great.  Looks like a picture with the infrared overlaid on it.  But at $4K USD it's a bit expensive for casual use.  I occasionally find it useful, but honestly bought it more as a sales tool than anything.  Customers seem to expect some kind of IR capability, and a phone solution should satisfy that, at a much better price point.

I don't think my company would pay for a device that interfaces with a phone (especially because we have a mixture of iphones and androids).
But at $200, I'm tempted to fork out the money from my own pocket just to get a new toy.

I Know a bit off the main topic but these things are getting popular, Phone with the thermal camera.

Have even heard a pdm company in Uk have developed theyre Triax Bluetooth accel to work with it and they can run theyre data collector software on the phone.
