We have some RR Avon for electricity production, most are now quite old and the mountings crack and the concrete guy put in a saw blade and it was possible to push in full length and no rebar was found along the full with of the crack, almost the length of the motor, they are found on 8 motors on this site. So if you something like this do you have those cracks? We have one site where they are newer as they are moved and possibly they don't have the feature but I have not visited that site. One of new refurbed 4 motors go up to 40mm/s when a critical is passed at 5000RPM and the others "only" reach 20mm/s and that is about the factory final test after refurb so something may differ.... I will try to get a photo. If you have some of these, can you look if you have this feature? I would hate if they fly away.
