Hi All,

So with a fixed ring gear, what would be the formula for a planetary gearbox planet gear rotational speed?  I worked it out with what /i know and checked with the CSI inbuilt calculator but would like to run ot by you all.  (y'all) in southern US speak. rgds

https://woodgears.ca/gear/planetary.html I'm working from phone but copy and paste to get to link above for resource. For a planetary it should be R/S + 1 for overall ratio. R = number of teeth on ring and S = number of teeth on sun.
