I guess, I'm looking for feedback from other users on Sys 1 Evo.
I am in the early stages of transitioning from Ascent to Sys 1, and there are some differances between the two systems. It's looking like I'll be starting fresh, as going thru each machine and changing measurements, alarms etc may take longer than a fresh start..

Original System1 is called nowadays classic. It was introduced maybe around 1999. System1 Evo was introduced around 2016. I'm not sure if GE sells now Classic or not.

S1 classic can connect to 12 online racks. S1E can contact to 30 online racks. S1E is what GE work on and they have a development team to bring Classic features to Evo plus additional features that were not available in S1. For example, peak interpolation has been added to S1E.

Will you use the software primarily for portables?

Hi Shurafa, have you used other brands of hardware / software? If so what are your experiences - comparisons?  I do have some experience myself with CSI / SKF and DLI and am interested in hearing from anyone who has used different brands. rgds

Shurafa,

As of now, S1E will be used with my portable VB7. We did purchase the network package, for later down the road when we start using online monitoring..
