Send you in log. scale first 1xMRS (male rotor speed) + harmonics and 1xFRS (female rotor speed)
MRS+FRS+harmonics.jpg
And now send you in log. scale 1xMRS (male rotor speed) + harmonics and 1xFRS (female rotor speed) + harmonics + Unknown pattern (1xCT + harmonics with sidebands to 1xM)
MRS+FRS&harmonics + pattern.jpg

This is my problem what´s the meaning of unknown pattern? I´ve never saw this pattern in any vibration handbook. There´s another pattern that I already know what´s the meaning after an overhaul ===> pattern (1xMRS+harmonics (+/-) 1xFRS) = Looses between screws or screws worn.

I think you're looking for of a book solution, but there is no such thing.

Afaik sidebands means modulation.
I'm thinking of small speed changes or problems with the pinion gear, bent shaft or is completely normal.

Your sideband are really small to be something that require full attention, as I said before my "6 months old" g160 compressor has the same pattern, just like other five g132 (3yrs old) we have.

I've lost interest in this thread as soon as the mention of a pattern from a book is mentioned, go back to your wall chart and good luck I say :-) this is a circular argument and can see this going no-where....the op has repeatedly posted t same log charts despite Rusty's effort to clean up the thread....and back to square 1.

Nothing is ever as the wallcharts say.

Ruben, since you are very interested in this pattern here is a Atlas copco G160 with same pattern as yours, log and linear scale, al normalized to motor speed (1790.9), CT=5.478xM

[QUOTE = fburgos] Ruben, ya que está muy interesado en este patrón aquí hay un Atlas copco G160 con el mismo patrón que el suyo, log y escala lineal, al normal de la velocidad del motor (1790.9), CT = 5.478xM

Thanks F burgos!. But I have been able to see this pattern in others compressors too, Ingersoll Rand, Kaeser, Boge, Robuschi etc., but I still dont know what´s is its meaning and Iworry about it because I have an ATLAS GA250 with the same pattern but with amplitudes much higher and with the GMF (gear mesh frecuency) ok, so I don´t think it was the pinion. Your opinions and examples have been very good...thanks!!.

Are you from Spain? Im from Cantabria (Spain)

Thanks for your short collaboration!. I started in the world of predictive maintenance in year 1997 and from there till now I´ve tried to work the best I can and learn  from my teacher, HANDBOOKS, my own experience everyday and from everybody than wanted to teach me. I never close my mind to nothing or anyone. I recommend you to read handbooks, some of them are very good.
