Are you aware that MasterTrend with HASP can only run on Win XP or older, and Fastbal downloadable program is Serialized to the specific analyzer?

Walt is correct.

If your registered owner of 2120 analyzer and it came with FastBal II from CSI, just call them and ask them for a copy of the firmware and DLP's.

You can run MasterTrend on Win-7 if you run and install it using Windows Virtual PC.  But, this might only work on NCP versions of MT.

Ditto me. Recently bought a 2120 - 2 from eBay. Arrived yesterday. I give the unit (a black faceplate, not a consultant) a 6, maybe 7 out of 10 so far. Seller showed a picture with clear message "2120 System Firmware is not loaded". So I thought, great it is functioning.  The low cost convinced me to buy it and as a doorstop it will be quite nostalgic. But I will get it going.  You never know, A spare balancing box in emergencies.

But it arrived without a battery. It must have had a battery for the photo shoot but now none. So great delight, then immediately thought something was wrong with the weight - no battery.  I will source one locally.  If unsuccessful locally I can get one from Max Porter.  So can't wait to light it up. Good old 2120. You just can't kill them... rgds

True... I'm still really liking mine.  I have a few available for sale if anyone wants one.  They'd come with the firmware and DLP's loaded, good battery, backup FW/DLP disk, SRAM card, plastic wrap, charger & leather case.

Hi Danvibro, what is a good price...? I reckon, see how much you can make with it per hour. And multiply it by, maybe a working week or 2. I was very lucky recently. Just waiting on a battery now and maybe it will work. I think so at this stage. you'll need a USB to serial converter. Plenty around but for me it took some 12 attempts to find one that worked. Sometimes they work upload, and not download. Test it thoroughly before you collect any real data. rgds
